Garden Design Ideas

I’m trying to design a cottage garden in a very weird shaped front yard and would love to be able to send in a picture and get some idea.
Is there such a site ?

Designer? Carpenter? I like them all and have no favorite. But I love Trading Spaces, with or without Paige. I love Laurie and Genevieve, and I love Amy Winn and Carter. (I wasn’t certain if this would be under Decorating and Remodeling or Garden and Landscape or both.)

I am starting a company to help people design and refresh their gardens and landscapes.  My services will include planning out their garden, helping them select plants at the nursery, and then helping them keep their yard green and healthy.  I’m thinking of a name with
“– Scenes” or “– Scapes” in it, but I’m open to any ideas.  I am near the coast and specialize in plants that do well there. I love the name Gardenscapes but it is already taken.  Thanks much!

We have a sunken hole we want to turn into a ‘garden’ of some kind. …the land is very high at the rear of our house so its basically just a big hole in the ground with scrubby grass sides! NOT very pretty - we work from home so expect to have lots of visitors this summer - here are photos - http://myauctionpix.com/membertemplate.php?a_id=1321&bg_id=25….it has to stay gravelled as its also drainage for the whole garden/paddock that slopes into it (thats the concrete well on the right ) - under the gravel is drainage pipes - I’d love a paved area for a gazebo & maybe some kind of water feature - maybe also an american style stone BBQ table with seating area etc - we have a TON of stone as you can see so we can build walls and all sorts for nothing - if you have any ideas i would be grateful as i have NO idea what to do with this area? ( btw - the patio will have wooden rails in a few days so that wil be more ‘finished’ too….thankyou so much - i really need some inspiration !

I would love to have a wind turbine in my garden, to generate electricity but I am sure most of you will do to, and the reason you don’t have it (and would agree with me) - everything they sell nowadays is big and ugly, especially if your garden is small and you are not allowed to install anything big on your roof.
I wonder why they don’t make wind turbines in the shape of anemometer - they would not take too much place, and would look good anywhere.
Or make a sleek wind turbine based on the design of those advertising banners they put outside of the stores- they spin like crazy in the wind.
Do you know any reasons why they don’t exist?
Pobept K - I love big industrial ones, they look so beautiful, especially when there are many of them, but if you have a small garden - every small wind turbine is still big for it, and look rediculous there, taking half of it.

garden room dedicated & named by you? Also be able to get married in a choice of rooms after the garden is prepared enough-just watch 2 acres of a mountain ridge made even more beautiful ? I want to use my “ridge” for outdoor weddings eventually . I have a phobia of driving & my husband retired & we moved here because he inherited it . Ive done alot of work on it so far, but it’s taken me 5 years to get this far- I need help-I love playing in the yard, so why not try to make a living doing what I love;I asked about breeding I guess that won’t work. So now what does everyone think of this idea? I’ve never had a license-I’m stranded!! I can’t play in the yard if I’m trying to earn money on surveys.I’ve wasted a WHOLE YEAR trying to earn money. Why do I want money? I just want to fix my home up so I have enough room for everything-I have a loving family that visits alot,I have to do something;any help will be greatly appreciated.I’m still going on with my plans, I just want to know about
