Does anyone have Solar Powered Patio Lights? Are they water proof?
I want to buy a set at walmart for a small garden but the garden has a spray sprinkler system and I want to know if they are water proof, by looking at the design the bulb is but im not sure about the actual solar panel thanks
mine are, had them for about two years now, they survive the rain and watering and all, i have some in my planters on my patio, i like them a lot, mine are the whitish glow ones, some are more of an amber glow
my neighbor has them and they are out all the time so they must be waterproof. i think they said they don’t cost very much. i don’t know how much that would be though.
Because it is for a yard, I’m sure the creators weren’t stupid (always a chance though) and knew the weather would be a problem. If it is made especially for the outdoors then I’m sure the whole thing is waterproof, but most of the lights-walmart’s for sure-are really dull and only provide “mood” lighting. If you just want something pretty-which they are-and don’t want them as a main source of light, then get them and don’t worry about the water situation…I’d still check the box to make sure.
Yes these solar powered patio lights do come water proofed as they are for out doors.

Hi, Yes they are meant to be outside so are able to take the moisture. I just would not put it right next to a sprinkler head if they have a lot of pressure. Hope this helps.
Most solar lights are water proof. Mine are water proof. I really recommend it to anybody who has garden. It saves you money and you can mount it anywhere you want without running power cord. You can get more information on below website.
